This hotel surprised me, more than I expected for a 3 star hotel. Excellent customer service, very clean room and the outside too. Convenience location: a Walmart literally beside and 5 minutes to the City Center by car.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Check in and out was fast and friendly. Asked for a room on the top floor and received it. No deposit. Breakfast is the bare minimum. Room was clean and recently renovated. Everything worked properly. Very quiet and safe. Bes was firm and pillows were flimsy. Parking was easy. No elevator. About 20 minutes from downtown.

Decent place. Upgraded rooms, clean and had a new kitchen! sheets were a bit worn and service was measured. Breakfast was light.

Rooms are clean and spacious but heavily infested with mice. Mice have no entrance to the room yet but all night I heard their squeaks in the walls and roof. Kept me up all night. Didn’t hear anything in the morning but I wasn’t in the room most of the time as well.
No iron in the rooms.
Not enough trash cans in the room.
Quality of products like soap and shampoo is very low.
Sink was clogged but was opened quickly once brought to the front desks attention.
Management is a little stingy.

I was very impressed with this place. Clean room, refurbished and smell good. Friendly staff and they let me check in earlier. The only issue was I thought they have dress coffee in morning but there was not any. Overall great place I will be staying again for sure and pretty economical. They even put tooth brush, and floss for you!

The room is great! The floor was clean and the beds were neat. I slept comfortable and I took a nice shower and the food was SUPER GREAT!!!

Memorial Day weekend i arrived on Friday May 24 pros: outside property nice & clean room and bathroom was very clean as well. no stains or dirty sheets luv the shower no bad smells roaches are bugs anywhere. overall nice clean room ok the cons: the bed VERY HARD LORD!!! parking limited and no visitors read it when you check in that was bit much maybe because of the limited parking space I guess. But I would definitely come back but can you please get something to put on your beds just too hard.

Great extended stay! Clean and service was great! There are no bugs at all because housekeeping is so great.They even have a garbage disposal. They have smoking rooms and are private, very accommodating, and a friendly family owned business.

I like this Palace Inn! Provides customers the utmost privacy needed. I'm a loud moaner. Rooms are neat and clean, especially the floor, doesn't dirty up my knees.

Horrible!! Stayed the night there and this employee named max or matt whatever his name is open the door to my room when he thought I was out without knocking the door he opened it and he just stared at me like the night stalker and I think that’s very disrespectful and not professional at all and it scared my wife and we had to leave the hotel. NOT RECOMMEND

Looks like this place was renovated recently and they did a great job, super nice modern looking room, super clean and enjoyable. The only complaint we have is that the beds were horribly hard and uncomfortable, other than that is a great low budget hotel.

I accidentally put the day of for a reservation. I talked to the manager and there was no sympathy for my mistake. I understood it was a mistake but it's all I wanted was my dates changed. It was 12am when i made the reservation and called 8am. They tell me i should of called at 12am. I'm not used to booking hotels and it was late and careless of me. When i called in the morning the manager was not there. Apparently her shift starts mid morning i called a 3rd time to tell me that she was in a meeting. Called and she didn't understood my situation. I am sure they have a way they could of helped me. They cared that i didn't show up on the date i made a mistake and said they could of sold it to someone else. All they cared about is making money and not helping me as a new customer. I am not happy i invested my money and couldn't enjoy a night at this place. No empathy or a discount for the next reservation. I am disappointed in their behavior and lack of understanding.

Overall 4/5 Value 4/5 Wifi 0/5 (it didn’t work in the evening in room 108) The customers have a barrio mentality, so management has to manage accordingly - not the motel’s fault. I put the motel’s address into my GPS and it came up with a spot 18 miles away (luckily, I knew that was incorrect). Again, not the motel’s fault. Before I even parked, I got in an altercation in the parking lot with a housekeeper with a severe attitude problem; that is the motel’s responsibility. The motel is in an intense urban area with heavy traffic. Streets are not well marked and there are highway entrances everywhere. Pros: room was spacious and clean and had everything essential. Water was hot. The room had a kitchenette, but we were just there overnight so we didn’t utilize it. Parking seemed adequate. Location was good. Pretty quiet overall. Cons: feels like an urban motel in a so-so neighborhood. At check-in, the clerk gave me the wrong room - when I went back to the office, he knew why I was there. The room felt a bit spare for the price - no coffee maker, no iron, no kleenex, nothing in the kitchenette, etc. Presumably it would get stolen if they had it. The internet didn’t work in room 108. The motel is not that well marked from the street. The mattresses were extremely firm, whether that’s good or bad. Ultimately, the issue isn’t the hotel, it’s Houston. This area is considered one of the safer areas of Houston, which doesn’t say much for the city. Apparently finding a decent motel at a decent price is almost impossible in Houston. That makes this place look better by comparison. Ultimately, the issue isn’t whether to stay in this motel, it’s whether to come to Houston at all.… Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your opinions and give us with an unbiased appraisal of the guest experience at our hotel. This room is always nice and clean. The staff is accommodating and there are people that clean the property all day. Though it’s off the freeway, it is quiet and peaceful. Shower is beautiful and relaxing

I did like the room. Room and bathroom are very spacious. Everything is new in the bathroom and they even provide mouth wash. The staff was amazing. The front desk clerk is really kind. Tip: The muffin there was fantastic.

This hotel sits behind Walmart and is very close to the freeway, but very safe. I believe this location is new .The rooms are very nice and clean with beauty paintings hanging on the walls. The palm tree that sit in the middle of the parking lot gives the hotel a beauty scenery. This will always be my first choice, if I ever travel back to Texas.The staff are very friendly .My daughter and I felt very welcome.

My stay at Palace inn city center in Houston was okay, very good location as it is close to Walmart, a walking distance and easy access for shopping. The rooms are big enough, clean and the beds are big and soft. Meal is averagely ok, but am not so satisfied with the complimentary breakfast as it is not reach at all. It is a good place if you need a nice but cheap hotel accommodation around. A very good location not too far to malls and the Airport. Good value for money.

New hotel in the area, went to try it out and was not disappointed. Hotel is well kept and in a good location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Stayed 3 days and have no complaints, will definitely be coming back to this one location again!!
