Rooms, clean & comfortable. Price for room was good. If ever in tge area agian, we will stay agian.
Not too good of service at front desk, the front door is always locked. No ice machine & no coffee.

I booked this room over choosing other hotels because the online pictures looked better than the other hotels. I actually paid more to stay here than at the Baymont down the street. Online, this place said it was remodeled in 2021, so it has to be good, right? Wrong. We booked a deluxe kind room for our honeymoon at the beach. We get here, and he hands us the key for a double queen. I tell him no, we booked a deluxe kind and paid in advance. Nobody called to tell us that this room wasn't available. He says they did try to call me, then read a number that isn't mine. Says that our originally booked room is unavailable because someone smoked in it, so we were downgraded to the double queen. Then he said we weren't being charged for that first night, yet he wouldn't issue a refund for it. The room was dirty, there looks to be blood inside the lamp shade and on the bed spread, someone punched a whole in the bathroom door, the microwave was melted, and the sheets were stained. When I went back to the front desk to tell him, and ask once again if we could be moved to a king room like we paid for, he said, well actually no, because we have to paint that room. I told him he didn't mention painting before, just that the room needed aired out, and he said that it needs painted now. But he got us in a king room the next night. Great, let's go. We got to the room, and he had just has house keeping go through it. Cool. Except that night, when we were laying in bed, we saw roaches crawling the walls. The air conditioner only worked on half the unit and the kitchenette didn't work until our last night because a breaker had been flipped. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8 am every morning and when we would ask them if they could come back in a few minutes so we could get dressed and get out of the way, they never came back. We had the same sandy towels for 3 1/2 days before the office offered us new ones. The desk clerk was condescending and rude every time I spoke with him, and I honestly didn't feel safe walking to our room alone at night because the hotel is just sketchy overall. I understand that we booked a motel 6, and I understand the stipulations around motels. But this one was just bad. I've stayed in motel 6's with my family most of my life and they were not like this. I will never stay in another motel 6 in my life. We are extremely disappointed.

Housekeeping keeps knocking at 8 am every day while im alseep and then gets mad that im sleeping and not out of the room and they never will come back untill the next day and ive asked for a do not disturb sign and never get one. The people at the desk are either very rude or never there. Ive killed 6 cockroaches in the past 3 days. I wouldn't trust this place to watch a dog. Me and my family will never come back to a motel 6. I wish you could put 0 stars

I normally wouldn’t leave a bad review but there was just too many things that were not ok with our stay. First, the room had a horrible smell. Not sure if it was mold, mildew but almost had a penicillin smell. Secondly our TV (Direct Tv) wouldn’t work. We called the front desk and the lady working said she didn’t know how to fix it…so night 1..we had no TV. Night one also left us trying to find a parking spot after we went to dinner as every single spot was taken. No choice but to park in the handicap spot. There was no coffee maker or hairdryer in our room. The sheets on one of beds had questionable stains. The smell of marijuana is all you can smell walking to our room on the 2nd floor and was basically our wake up call when the smell would come in thru the ac. They fixed our tv while we were gone for the day Saturday but when we came back from dinner it wasn’t working again. The guy working came up and fixed it but within 10 minutes it went out again. The water was yellow.. so we used bottled water to brush our teeth. I don’t think we will be staying on the property next time we come to town.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Seems to be quite a bit of people living there. The pool is clean and nice. Ice machine wasn't working. No coffee maker in room. Hair dryer didn't work. For the price, it's good if you're looking for no frills, cheap motel that's clean.

Was pleasantly surprised how clean this hotel is. The outside area was well kept too. Considering the area was so close to the beach, the price was unbeatable. The staff was very nice as well. Will definitely be staying here again.

Towels and sheets smell too bad. I don't think they are washing them with detergent. The place is very old. I can understand this, because it is cheap. But every hotel has to serve clean towels and sheets.

I stayed at Motel 6 during the December 2022 freeze. It was a lovely visit. The room was cozy and comfy. The staff were great and provided everything I needed. The parking was good. It was very quiet, and I felt very safe. I have become a Motel 6 fan and look forward to my next visit!

When I called to arrange a late check in the guy on the phone was very nice - good customer service. NO coffee maker in the room so I thought I could get a cup of coffee in the lobby, but it seems that the lobby is NEVER open to customers - all transactions occur through a window and speakers as you stand outside. The floors need to be repaired. When I asked the housekeeper if all the rooms' floors were similar, she said yes, they are going to remodel next year! According to the advertisement all room were newly renovated. The mattress was really indented on the side next to the phone OF COURSE! The television and AC were in working order and I was very happy. The room was disgusting. I will attach pictures of the light switches, DISGUSTING. I am so glad that I brought my Disinfectant spray... I had no alcohol, or I would have used that. I was looking for a basic hotel that was clean. Cleanliness is not much to ask for. I could have overlooked the other stuff BUT, this is ridicules, and I am not sure why Motel 6 would even allow them to use their name.

There were cockroaches enjoying the same room we were staying in. Not sure why they felt the need to buy a new tv and didn't spend it on exterminator. But they did refund us the money to our stay after bringing the issue to them.

My family and I booked only ONE day there after our Airbnb booking and honestly we were just better going back home. For starters, the people working the front desk area were so rude... On our booking it clearly stated that we had two non-smoking rooms because one of my kids have really bad asma. Yet again, the front desk did not care to help. We asked to please swap our rooms to non smoking and they just said “We only have those rooms available”... Very interesting because when we booked it online, it showed we grabbed two rooms without it, so it was very upsetting and confusing. No accommodations were given, and he even said “That is not my problem”... The whole night I had super bad migraines due to the awful strong smell of cigarettes and marijuana. I ended up getting really sick, throwing up all night because the rooms were just so filthy. My daughter who is 13 years old was coughing all night... Needless to say, you can’t expect too much out of a Motel; and I completely understand that, but given the situation that was our only option for convenience. Definitely save your money. It’s better to spend a little more money on a place more family friendly.

Minus half star for lack of water pusher in the shower. Minus half star a few dings in the doors. And minus one full star the beds were firm. And woke up with a sore lower back. However it was clean, quite and I felt safe.
