We always get a truly delicious meal when we come here. They are reasonably priced, and the service is always quick! The servers are super friendly and attentive. And it won't break the bank to eat here.

Great food and drinks! The bartender (i think his name is Jose, he’s tall) always has an amazing attitude and 5 star customer service. My cousin had her baby shower in the party room a few years ago and even that was great. They came in to check on us and make sure we didn’t need refills or help with our food.

Our local Mexican restaurant - food is okay, but margaritas are subpar. It is super busy here. Sometimes hard to get a table

Typical Tex-Mex food the burrito I ordered was drenched in the obligatory queso which tasted like the can it came out of. I ordered the ground beef. There was a decent amount wrapped up in the flour tortilla. The mixture inside the tortilla was kind of a mix of stuff which I could not readily identify. The meat tasted like it was about to be off. The beans and rice were cold upon arrival even though they told me the plate was hot. Now to the chips and salsa. What the heck is that green stuff? It’s a cross between a watery guac and a thick salsa verde with a watery guac. The salsa wasn’t bad but wasn’t great for a Mexican restaurant. I tried them that is all that is one and done

The food is pretty good if you like Texmex. The cheese enchiladas are spot on. I like service from Jose, but not big on the short, Hispanic waiter that assumes I can’t speak English and only speaks Spanish to me even though I don’t speak Spanish. I just think it’s rude to assume someone can or cannot speak a language based on how you think they appear. Other than that, again, food is good and Jose is a super good waiter. Many of the other waiters are also friendly!

This evening my family and I attempted to have dinner at Las Haciendas. We've visited this restaurant on several occasions and the food has always been good. It's the service that has always lacked. Tonight we were sat and the waiter avoided us for over 10 minutes. We didn't get the opportunity to order drinks although he passed us up 3 times. It was apparent in his demeanor that he didn't want to be there so we won't be returning.

Always our favorite restaurant for years, we always come here, almost every weekend, very good food, and we love the top shelf Margaritas! The servers and Bartenders very professional, even if they are super busy, they provide the best service!

The Las Haciendas League City location is wonderful! The food is great and the service can't be beat. Try it!

We had a party of 10 and our waiter Cerios was outstanding. Every order was correct, he kept our drinks full, he was very personable. We will be back and wouldn't hesitate to have a large group again.

We come here at least once a week. Service is great, beer is cold and food is good! Love those top shelf margs! It's close to home! Need more happy hour specials!

  • Oct 23, 2023 by Isaac R.

I had very high hopes for this restaurant going in, the lighting and environment was appealing. Although the service wasn't the best. Our drinks were being refilled, which was a plus, but we weren't checked up on at all through out our short stay. There was an older man working who kept trying to make jokes to one of the girls, coming off creepy. The food wasn't the best either. I ordered the chimichanga, and first off wasn't appealing at all. The cheese was cold on top and the rice and beans were cold as well with the meat inside the chimichanga tasting very fake and nasty. I ended up sending the plate back and getting the bill, which still had it the meal charged. It took a second but they ultimately took it off my bill.

We were visiting for Spring Break and wanted Mexican food. We decided based on the reviews and we were not disappointed.
My husband and I took our 6 year old granddaughter.

The food was exceptional and the customer service from every employee was fantastic. Everyone had a great attitude. They all interacted with our granddaughter and her stuff animal “Chase”.

I had the enchiladas, my husband had the tortilla soup/salad and our granddaughter had a cheeseburger w/fries.

The food was authentic and very flavorful. I would definitely return again when we visit .

This was my first time here. The atmosphere was pretty cool. I arrived for happy hour. The chicken veracruz was OK. I've had better. The al pastor tacos were good and the margarita and Pina colada I had was the best.

  • Dec 17, 2022 by Ashley W.

Okay so let me start by saying that I've waited until I've come here over a handful of times, and had many experiences with several servers. By far, HANDS down the best service in Texas, ALEXANDER. He greets you with the biggest smile, he's so friendly and remembers your order. We only sit in his section and luckily he's almost always here so it's a treat going out to eat! Now onto the food, get the mini chimichangas. They are a great appetizer, and super kid friendly. I've also really loved the fajita steak tacos, à la carte. I like to add onion and cilantro, and they are delicious. Also the al Pastore tacos, have been very delicious. Their kids, bean and cheese burrito, comes with melted cheese on top, just word to the wise if you are expecting the cheese to come inside of it. My son still really enjoyed it, and spicy cheese is not his thing. Almost every time we come early or late we get a happy hour priced margarita, I think frozen is best!! They are delicious and you'll get your money worth for sure. Lastly the tortilla soup, that's a yes!!

  • Oct 08, 2022 by Carey T.

The service here is terrible and it's expensive. Just waited 30 minutes to order and finally walked out. They didn't care.

  • Sep 11, 2022 by Nick R.

Waited for 15 mins and there's no host, no manager on site, no server. A guy was walking around I assume he was a server. He sees me standing here the host stand says wait to be seated!! And NOT 1 person said anything or asked if I needed help. As soon as they seen a white couple come in the got greeted and sat. Guess they just pick and choose where they Think they're getting money from. All I was doing was picking up my to go order. In the 15 mins I waited I did see roaches crawling around. I caught 1 on video so would I bother with this place again, H No!!

  • Aug 28, 2022 by Megan D.

This long standing location is a neighborhood staple! Not only is the service100%, (Thank You Jose!!!) But the food pops with fresh flavors, beautifully presented, and should you happen to order a drink, extremely flavorful and fun!! Decor, restaurant, rest room are immaculate and wonderful! Ladies....that restroom is amazing! Do not pass this up because it maybe seated next to a grocery store! It is amazing, comfortable, and oh so great!

  • May 27, 2022 by Claudean H

The food and service at this restaurant is excellent. The staff was so gracious and we had a large group. They did not even add a tip automatically. I have eaten there before and it is always very good, hot and fresh food.

  • Feb 15, 2022 by Anthony Martone

Great service. Freshly made tortillas. Salsa BROKE DA MOUTH! Well seasoned chicken hot and fresh food. Quality Mexican food. They have seafood and American food on their menu; If you’re not into Mexican fare but everybody else in your party is.

  • Dec 12, 2021 by K G.

Where do I even start? This place took over the former Mexican restaurant and removed all very nice decor when they took over many moons ago. It's very generic looking inside. I don't know how you make Tex-Mex taste terrible but, frankly, you'd get a better tasting meal at Taco Bell than this place. My beef fajita burrito had a sliver of beef in it and the whole meal was completely flavorless. Previously had their street tacos which were less than "meh." If you want good tasting food, go to Mr. Sombero's where at least the food tastes good.

  • Oct 15, 2021 by Shannon K.

Food is not good, service is poor. Food is just bland. Disappointed to say the least.

  • Jun 28, 2021 by El M.

I have to say that I had normally done dine-in but this weekend I ordered carry out. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was delicious as usual. Sometimes there is just a different between dine-in and carry out. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. I will be recommending to all my friends and beyond to continue to support this fine establishment.

  • Jun 13, 2021 by Sami M.

Piss poor staff. Can't even handle multiple online orders and serve guests at a time. Door dash orders are a priority and this location could care less!! Please don't waste your money here

  • May 09, 2021 by Hector R.

Sheeesh i can see why we were the only ones at the restaurant. Food did not taste good at all i hate to be a karen but i do not recommend this place. Nephews burger tasted better than my 20$ plate.

  • Apr 14, 2021 by Michelle D.

I wanted to like this place when we ordered doordash from here. The food was hot and fresh, and the fish tacos looked amazing. Beyond that, we were not impressed. The food is VERY salty, and it just wasn't that good. I ordered a $32 appetizer sampler, and it had a lot of food.... but it was dry chicken in greasy quesadillas, burnt chicken wings, cold and burnt shrimp and flautas that were falling apart. The best part of the meal were the sauces with the appetizer sampler. They were good and the cheese sauce was good too. But while everything else was overseasoned, the salsas (red and green) were under seasoned and bland. The chips needed some of the salt that the meal had in abundance. All said and done, I have had much better Mexican food and probably won't return. There's nothing overtly bad--the flan was good and the sopapillas were yummy--but there was nothing that really stood out as great, and we spent over $100 to learn that lesson. Live and learn.

  • Mar 26, 2021 by Kelsey S.

This is the only place I'll go for Mexican, best prices, best food, you've gotta try it if you haven't

  • Mar 16, 2021 by David S.

There's a Mexican name on the restaurant, but I wouldn't call this Mexican food. I ordered a burrito and it was wrap. No fresh made tortilla and bland. Also, no heat to any of the salsas that they claim mild, medium, and hot.

  • Jan 24, 2021 by Bobby B.

We are new to area and tried this place out a couple of times. We had some food delivered a couple of weeks ago and the meat smelled terrible. The tortillas always fall apart. They do have great margaritas though.

  • Dec 03, 2020 by Gary D.

Not adhering to the mask mandate at all. More than 50% of the patrons come in without a mask. Stay away. Management doesn't care about your health or your concerns about wearing a mask

This is one of the few Mexican restaurants that I visit regularly. It's consistently good, the service is terrific, and they have a pretty large outside patio with umbrellas. This restaurant is located in a strip mall with Randall's grocery and a parking lot away from the busy Marina Bay Drive. However, you don't feel like you are that close to a busy highway. It's a pretty quiet patio. The restaurant serves a warm, red salsa and a green, creamy salsa. Both are very good. The yellow queso is also very good. The enchiladas, quesadillas, and tacos al carbon (beef) are all delicious as well. This place makes their tortillas on site, and it is apparent as some will fall apart on you as you eat, but I don't mind it since the flavor is there. The rice and beans here are also very good! I heard they have an amazing happy hour with a full buffet inside, but since I have mainly dined during COVID, I haven't felt comfortable going inside. I look forward to trying it soon when it is safer to do so.

  • Jun 04, 2020 by Esme C.

We will NEVER be ordering from this place again! My husband and I ordered fajitas for two. We received a sad little portion that was enough for two tacos. We paid $41 for this! I called the restaurant and they could care less. I told them I would pay for a single fajitas and expected a refund for the remainder. The guy didn't even answer and hung up. I called again because I thought the call dropped and I was hung up on again!! If these people are so money hungry they can keep it and shove it!

We love Las haciendas Mexican restaurant. This is our go to Mexican restaurant with great service, great food and a great place to watch baseball or football. I personally love the appetizer chimichanga its the best in town!

We stopped in for dinner one night while out looking for somewhere new to eat. The food was amazing and the service was too!! A definite must try if you're looking for great Mexican food!!

  • Nov 06, 2019 by Carol E

Wonderful Mexican food! Reasonable prices and excellent service. My plate was serviced attractively, the food was fresh and the chicken was excellent. There is ample parking.

  • May 25, 2019 by Paula J.

Sat for over 5 minutes at 4:00 on a Saturday holiday afternoon with no bartender or server to be seen. On any day, that is completely unacceptable.

  • Apr 28, 2019 by msk1Ca

Lovely setting, great food. Service was fine. Food was terrific--great salads with a Mexican flair! More than ample portions!

  • Mar 12, 2019 by monawadd

The food wasn’t very tasty. They make up for lack of spice by adding salt. The service was fine and the margaritas were above average, but the food is mediocre. We will not return to this establishment.

  • Feb 08, 2019 by Don M.

Salsa bland with no flavor and didn't even taste like salsa. Tamales tasted old and cooked in a microwave. At least the chips were okay. The Acapulco platter sounded good then I got it and had veggies that were not advertised. Broccoli and squash were very different. Don't think I would eat here again.

  • Oct 28, 2018 by Wes H.

When you do takeout, at least make a reasonable effort, when you order 3 dinners and an order of guacamole, half a bag of chips is just stupid. And when the chimichanga is supposed to be covered in queso, and it comes with a small half cup, not even enough to cover one of the 3 chimis, poor effort. Takeout is already overpriced, at least make an effort for the product, food quality is less than average

This place was very delicious, we've never been here before. I definitely recommended to anyone it's very delicious place to go eat not sure about peas in my Spanish rice but that was just still delicious.

Thank you Carla! Stopped in at the last minute for food to go. My family suffered a loss of a family member. I needed food for ten and fast. She thoroughly explained my options for feeding ten, put my order in right away, and helped me carry the food out to my car. I was in and out, and my family was so greatful for the awesome fajitas and fixings. :)

We went there for a weekday lunch today, maybe the first time for a weekday lunch. We typically go on the weekends when the service and quality has been magnitudes better. Today, both orders were wrong. My wifes order was so wrong I didn't even notice mine was missing some sides (like the pico) and even though I ordered the dinner entrée at the dinner price I got the lunch sized portion. If you decide to go here, verify what you get is what you ordered. I was ready to stand up and leave based on the indifference and inability of waiter number 1. The current story is their menu is not up to date with what they offer. But that was only told to us after the food was delivered and we questioned the waiter about why the food was different than what was ordered. Another worker came over and said he would have the kitchen fix the order to what was ordered on the menu. This time an appetizer version (no salad) of it came out. When we got the bill, there were various charges for add ons for what would complete the meal as advertised on the menu versus what they say they "offer". Bottom line, it sounded like the weekday kitchen cook is clueless as well as the waiter who lead with he only had been there 3 weeks and said he questioned the kitchen 3 times about what he was going to deliver vs what was ordered. He said the kitchen told him what was on the menu is not offered anymore but made a taco salad version of the menu advertised item and added on all the extras (like quacamole) at the add on cost. There are a lot of good texmex choices around. Las Haciendas in South Shore is not a good texmex restaurant during a weekday lunch. To top it off, the green sauce was almost regurgitating inducing and the red salsa was mild. Keep driving.

Nope, nope nope. We will never be returning to this place again. Our group of 5 stopped by here on a Friday evening for drinks and dinner. We decided to go sit upstairs since it was packed downstairs and they told us there was a waitress and bar upstairs so we would be taken care of. We went up there and got a table, waitress came over and appeared pissed that she had to take our order. We ordered a round of margaritas and a large order of queso. The queso arrived, but we didn't CHIPS, how can you serve queso without the chips? When we asked the waitress for chips, she again appeared pissed and took off downstairs. My husband went over to the bar and served us chips from there. Then 10 minutes later, she showed back up and was said "o, you got chips". No apologies, no emotion, nothing. Finally our margaritas arrived, some randomly with salt, some without, some served in different glasses, just poorly put together and served. That was the last issue, because at this point, we drank our drinks and left. The margaritas were watered down and tasteless. Save your money and make something better at home. This place is horrible, don't waste your time or money coming here. Go over to Taqueria Chalupas or Mamacitas for GOOD food & GOOD drinks!

Wanted a place to meet hubby that was close to work and this was it, plus it was easy for him to get to. Sadly that's about all I liked about the place. We were seated promptly but the service wasn't that great. Nobody was super rude but nobody was super awesome either. The salsa was warm when they served it which we do not care for, but the had some cold salsa that they brought after we asked for it so that was good. I got the flautas and hubby got the chalupas and both were ok but not amazing. The beans and rice weren't that hot although the flautas and chalupas weren't bad but not bad isn't really good enough when there are so many other Mexican restaurants around. I doubt we would go here again unless we had friends that wanted to, and offered to pay for it because really, I don't want to spend any more money here unless I have absolutely no choice. Maybe we ordered the wrong things and there's better things on the menu but I'm not too interested in going back to find out.

Nice dinner outside with some business associates one evening. I had the mixed fajitas with chicken and beef which were very good. I like the soft tortillas which are made on site and thin and delicious. The rice is very good and refried beans as well. There are plenty of your favorite drinks and different domestic beers as well as imports from south of the border. Be sure to make this a stop when in League City!

We love coming here! We always have great service but tonight was exceptional! Our server Nelson (103) was wonderful! One item was wrong and he noticed right away and went right back to reorder the correct item. He was on top of refilling our drinks and chips. Very nice and had a great smile - which is always a bonus. He kept on top of asking how things were and bringing the leftover containers. Wonderful server. Will go back and ask for him!

The start of the New Year started off looking for a place to eat. We found this spot and it was open!! The restaurant only had one waiter and he kept up with the orders and maintaining the tables. I give the food a 6 out of 10. A cozy restaurant, quick turnaround for order to food in front of you. The stuff jalapeños are cheap store bought cream cheese filled. The guacamole portion is small as well. I suggest passing on both and just stick to the queso. Enjoy!!

  • Nov 29, 2017 by Symone B.

The food was a little less than "meh". We ordered 2 family sizes of the chicken and steak fajita plates for take out. Here we are excited to eat, hungry as hell, mouth watering---- only to have taken a bite of some of the worse Mexican food I've had in a while, (and I am from Jersey). No flavor, dry, chewy.......just tasteless and bland. I mean it taste like you would think the color gray would... I was hoping to love this place since it is only right around the corner, but this is a place we will not be ordering food from again. I may try their bar as I have heard their margaritas are pretty decent.

I went in to pick up a to go order. I had originally called about two minutes before walking in. My daughter and I need to use the restroom and we did that, very nice facilities. By the time we got out our food was ready and the server was very kind. I'm not sure of his name, but I will definitely be back. Also the food was awesome!!!

Chips were a bit stale and cold, salsas were very good. I ordered the #24, tamales, chicken enchilada, and hard taco, with beans and rice. The tamales melted in my mouth! True greatness! The Chicken Enchilada was also excellent, the ground beef in the taco was seasoned perfectly with an abundance of garnish! I will recommend this place to all my friends!!!!

  • Jun 04, 2017 by kannis3

Everything placed on our table was delicious. From the chips and salsa (a choice of 2!) to our plates of enchiladas, all awesome. Our party arrived early enough for their happy hour. During this time they serve queso and this tasty chicken concoction. So good .This coupled with their delicious margaritas,of which you may have many flavors, makes for a fun experience. Visit this place. Well worth it. Great staff and the restaurant is a great size for large parties.

  • May 22, 2017 by 2littletime2seeitall

What I had here (fish tacos) were quite bland for a Mexican restaurant. That was also true of the borracho beans that came with the tacos. There was a small container of sauce to add to the tacos that did liven them up. This dinner was on special for $8.49 but the regular price of $11.99 was high for Mexican restaurants in this area. I didn't like the green salsa, which is usually my favorite, but the red was good. I might try the daily Happy Hour which promises small bites but probably wouldn't choose for dinner again.

  • Apr 22, 2017 by W6480BGnancyp

We visited one mid evening, and the restaurant had a lot of diners. Even with the crowd, the waiter came to our table quickly and was attentive throughout the experience. The menu was quite extensive, but explanations were provided for each dish. Our selections came out quickly and were hot and delicious with a number of different items which took up two plates for each person. Lots of leftovers to take home for a late night snack. We'll be back!!

  • Feb 28, 2017 by Krystleagans

We love going her on Fridays after a long week. My husband usually gets home around 7:30-8pm and we rush over to get our fix of delicious queso, amazing margaritas, and very tender beef fajitas. We've tried most everything in some form on the menu and have no complaints. The staff are very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the satisfaction of their guests.

  • Feb 15, 2017 by TeamHouston2016

I used to get La Costa Plato at the Webster location, and it was delicious. I ordered it here, and the fish was extremely bland. For some reason, I also received a bland piece of grilled chicken. I'm not sure why it was added to my plate, but it didn't help. The shrimp brochette were okay, but the sauteed shrimp were also bland. The vegetables didn't have any seasoning either. I don't know if it's the new normal to leave off all seasoning, but I will not go back unless it's another party like this time. I went a few years ago and was disappointed by whatever I had and only went this time because of the party. A friend wanted jalapenos on one of the few items that doesn't come with them (salad), and he was charged $0.99 for a tiny bit. He wasn't a fan of the available dressings so the waitress mentioned using cheese, but she failed to mention that it would be $1.99 for a little bit of melted cheese.
