Food was great. Love them chicken and beef fajitas and drinks. Had a waitress that went the extra mile with her service. Jazzlin was the young ladies name. I'd recommend the fajitas for 2 ,if possible ask for Jazz she will take care of you.

Waiter was super nice awesome customer service. I got the lunch fajita special it was ok. The meat could be a little more seasoned but that’s to
    My liking.

Considering it was after the lunch hours, service could have been better. I don't like asking servers for items that should be served upon being seated, such as a simple glass of water. Needed to constantly wave for attention. Had a margarita that must have been a virgin margarita because no liquor taste whatsoever. Had spinach enchiladas, which were cold. Plate very hot,but food cold. My friend had soggy chimichangas. We probably won't return. Not a very good first impression.

Just found a hidden gem, Las Haciendas in Webster is a must visit for great Mexican food.
I had The Acapulco platter, which consisted of beef and chicken fajitas with sauted shrimp. Just wow and fresh homemade flour tortillas, this hits deep in my heart. Can't wait to venture back and try one of at least 5 different plates that I had to decide on that I wanted.
    I highly recommend this establishment.

We went for the first time on a Saturday night. We had dinner at 7:30pm and by 9:30pm the floor that steps down converts to a live band playing Latin music and a dance floor! We will definitely be back!

Food great drinks house margaritas are delicious and a bit strong perfect for me Service a bit on the wait but worth the wait Ambience Tex-Mex orientented and good layout

Literally sat down and immediately asked what I wanted to drink . Not a hi or welcome or upsale on appetizers or drinks . Checked on me once no refills or fix the plate with flour instead of corn , waited 6-7 min to get the flour , at that point my appetite declined . I ate an ok dish. They were not busy had 2 tables and 3 bar patrons to have had a better experience . Basic drink order to bringing the order to bringing the check .

Our waitress for the night barely could speak English like a mumble tone. Speak up so we could help her help us. Seemed to be a little bothered by that… Came off like hurry up. Well that’s how we communicated. But she understood enough to have got it right. My advice is to acquire/require more patience for the people who barely understand Spanish. This took too much time for 1 table when staff was short from the look of things. Especially on a game night. Gotta do better with communication. The food was great came hot and on time even though I preferably like red sauce I guess she missed that part. But queso was good next time I’ll have to explain better. I was hungry, and my drink had a nasty taste like dirty water taste. Stick to the bar next time because lol will we go back, absolutely! probably order in next time.

I must have gone on an "off" night! I've eaten at the League City location and loved it. The Webster location is another story. Absolutely no flavor in the chicken and it was overcooked and dry. The salsa was so spicy I only ate one bite of it. The green sauce was watered down? Not flavorful at all. The peas in the rice were hard as hockey pucks. And again, not flavorful at all. My husband and I looked at each other and he said "I don't know how they stay in business", I totally agreed with him. Serving sizes were good, but when the food is not good, then that really doesn't matter. There are so many restaurants nearby that are so much better, we will not be returning.

  • Sep 20, 2023 by Lee Lastovica

Food was really good. My plate had fajitas nachos, fajita taco, enchilada, tamale, and of course rice & beans. Salsa was tasty. Our service was really off tonight. I’m going to assume that our sever was really new and learning the job. No need to go into details, cause it wouldn’t keep me from coming back.

  • Jul 20, 2023 by Kamla Joshi

Their food and the margaritas are the best and we have.been eating here for a long time and my
    Kids love this place too.

  • Jul 14, 2023 by Tiff D.

Meh. Probably fine for most people but with so many other options around I won't go back here. Waitress decided to give me another drink because they were out of what I requested but never asked what else I wanted... Queso taste like veleta. My meal was basic beef enchiladas. I've had better. Allot of cheese and not much sauce. Beef seemed dry and lacked and seasoning. House Margarita taste like water.

  • Jul 11, 2023 by Jasmine G.

I love it here, the service they give is quick, caring and great!!! I usually get the quesadillas, you can never go wrong with that option. I do prefer just white cheese but if you like it with yellow cheese they serve it that way here. It was yummy and fulfilling. The guac was a little off but I just ate my meal without it. Side note the sweet tea is DELICIOUS! I had 3 cups.

  • Jul 03, 2023 by Jennifer F.

My family considers themselves Tex Mex aficionados...and I must say this place definitely rates! It's been around forever and the food is always the right mix of hot, flavorful, and spicy. The service was fantastic. It is a typical TexMex joint that is always better than the chain restaurants like Chuys or On The Border. We ordered enchiladas, fajitas, The Favorito and some kids dishes - and each of us was happily dated. The only drawback was that the strawberry margaritas weee sweet and tasty but very light on the alcohol.

Walked in for a pickup order. 4 people saw me and didn't even try to help me. I walked out after 10 min. The place smells so bad I still smell like whatever meat that is. Definitely take note of that if you go inside this place.

  • Oct 28, 2022 by Sally L.

The food is always outstanding. We normally dine in but this time we ordered through Grubhub. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Again, the food was good, but thanks to GRUBHUB it took almost 2.5 hours to get our food. When I called Grubhub they offered a credit.... over a 70-dollar order and then credited $11.00..... I hope that Las Haciendas will change to Door Dash or any other deliver service as again GRUBHUB SUCKS. Oh, and this is not the first time we have issues. I should have just gone myself and saved money.

  • Sep 21, 2021 by jflo

Love coming here. Pretty close to authentic as you can get. The menu covers pretty much everything you could be looking for. The dining room is spacious and clean. The service is excellent. Pre-Covid they have live music. They have an outside seating area too. They also have a bar, which we did not order on this day. They sit large groups with no problems, ie, party. The food is always fresh and delicious. Portions are good and pricing is very reasonable. We always come back.

  • Aug 03, 2021 by Brandon S.

Terrible... avoid this place at all costs!!! They gave me watered down queso, red and green sauce with my to go order!! And literally the queso was topped off with water!! Somebody working there needs to be fired!! I will never ever go this place again!!

  • Jun 27, 2021 by brandi r.

Wow. This was the WORST food we have ever spent at a restaurant and just as expensive actually probably more then a nicer restaurant like pappasitos. My husband got chicken wrapped in bacon with cheese on top. Chicken was hard as a rock. He didn't even eat. My nephew got wings they had no sauce and way over cooked. I have quesadillas even my baby that eats everything spit out. Absolutely disgusting. Waste of $76 and to top it off it's my birthday. Will NEVER go Back. Ohhh and the bus boy came over put the tray on the table so I stood up real quick to sign the check and turned around to take a sip of my $3 drink and he had already dumped it out into the bucket tray.

  • May 29, 2021 by Britty F.

These are by far the worst fajitas I've ever consumed in my life. 1. They came out lukewarm (not sizzling) 2. No seasoning at all on the chicken or onions (barely any peppers) so thankfully there was lime for flavor 3. Not enough guacamole, pico de gallo, or peppers for the 3 tortillas provided. 4. The onions & peppers were greasy & still soaked in oil. If it wasn't for me being insanely hungry, to the point of being sick, I would have just asked them to send them back & get something else.

  • May 28, 2021 by Miguel E.

calming, warm environment. I Was welcomed upon walking in. Chips and salsa of course! They weren't bad just needed some salt. Salsa was so so. I had the chicken flautas from the lunch menu, the rice and beans were awesome! The chicken flautas were a bit different from what I've had before they weren't bad but I feel like maybe a little more seasoning on the chicken would make it 5 stars overall I felt really comfortable with the staff and was a nice experience. I would come again!

Ordered the veggie (onion, bell pepper, 'shrooms)quesadilla on a bed of rice. Plate also includes sour cream and guacamole atop shredded lettuce. I added a side of charro beans. I hadn't been here in years. Not sure why I stopped coming. I was pleasantly surprised. Chips and salsa were great. Everything I ordered was hot, fresh and delicious. Friendly and attentive customer service. They had a few other veggie option and the usual Mexican staples. Moderately price and well worth it. Fajitas are always tender. No! This place is horrible!!!!!! The service is ok. The food is the worst I've ever tasted in my life. The rice was not cooked well. The fish tacos tasted horrendous. Don't go here go to McDonald's instead save money and time!

The NASA location is disgusting!!!! They serve raw food!! Yes the manager got an earful from me!!! This was the kids cheeseburger my daughter had!!!

  • Jun 02, 2020 by Crystal C.

I wish I could give this place a fat ZERO!!! OMG soooo where to i start????? i stopped by this location in webster on my lunch break today thinking i was going to have a good lunch and a margarita.... boy was i soooooo wrong!!!!! when we got to our table there was a pill left by our utensils so my bf asked the waiter if it was his, he just grabbed it and took it to the back!!!! like wow dude really were the tables even cleaned before we arrived ir are u a pill popper? i mean with covid and all this is just not right. so i ordered the chicken fajita enchiladas and my bf ordered the beef fajita enchiladas (i want to slap myself for not taking pictures of our food). well before our food arrived i was snacking on the chips and salsa they gave us upon arrival. as i took my first bite of my enchiladas my mouth started burning so i told my bf wow i must have put too much salsa on my chips because my mouth burns and i cant taste my food!! nope!!! they actually put salsa as the enchilada sauce instead of actual enchilada sauce..... wowwww!!! ok so with me being a latina i have eaten a lot i mean a lot of enchiladas in my time and never have i ever had enchiladas made with salsa instead of enchilada sauce. my bf did not even eat his he only ate the fajita meat from inside bc he was hungry. so the waiter as he passed by asked me if i would like a to go box and i told him no im sorry but i can't eat this, can you send it back and so he did. i had already ordered my 2 daughters some food to go from the kids menu (kids cheese enchilada plate and kids cheeseburger w/ fries). when the waiter brought my to go order the plastic bag handle had refried beans on it so i asked my bf to pass the napkins on the table because i was not going to touch that. the waiter instead of apologizing and cleaning it handed me the napkins so i can clean it.... (lol ok i guess)! well i get dropped off at work(because again i was on lunch) and my bf takes my daughters their food well my daughter ate half her burger before realizing it was completely rawwww...... omg she sent me the picture of it and i promise if i did not have to stay at work i would of gone and thrown it at someone at this restaurant!!!! i called and asked for the manager and he will not be in until 3pm and boy will he/she be hearing from me!!! this was the worse experience i have everrrrrr had at this place!!! i don't care how good the margaritas are i will neverrrrr be returning to this nasty place again and i will post this on my social media accounts and let everybody know. do not and i repeat do not visit this disgusting place!!!!!! im sooo pissed rn!!! UPDATE::: I SPOKE WITH A MANAGER BY THE NAME OF JOSEPH AND HE SOUNDED LIKE HE COULD CARE LESS!! HE DID OFFER ME A GIFT CARD BUT I TOLD HIM I DON'T WANT A GIFT CARD AND I DON'T WANT MY MONEY BACK! I JUST WANT HIM TO KNOW HOW FOOD IS BEING SERVED SO IT CAN BE CORRECTED BUT BY HIS TONE HE REALLY DOES NOT CARE!!

We decided to go eat at Las Haciendas while staying in Webster for an offshore fishing trip. When we arrived, we were seated quickly and immediately we were greeted and offered chips, green salsa and red salsa. Both the salsas tasted good and fresh but the red one was spicy. We ordered a large queso, which was very rich but tadted good. I had the Nasa dinner, which was a crunchy ground beef taco, 2 cheese enchaladas, 2 pieces on chicken quesdilla and rice and beans. Both the enchiladas and the crunchy taco were very good. The quesadilla pieces were very dry and didn't taste very good. The peach tea was good. For the price and quality of food, I will return when in that area. I recommend Las Haciendas if you want Mexican food in Webster!!

  • May 06, 2020 by Timothy G.

The dining area isn't open yet, but they are still doing curbside pick up. My order was ready in about 15 minutes, which is really fast. When I arrived to pick up my order, there were people sitting outside enjoying drink, while waiting for their orders. The young lady expediting the pickup orders was very nice and professional, the food was still hot when I got it home as well and it was delicious. Overall, It was great service from call in to pickup.

  • Mar 15, 2020 by Brittany W.

Food was good as always. I just wish the server didn't make a face at me when I asked for chips and salsa to go when I even stated I would pay for it. He continued to mention that i have to be charged, which I already stated I was prepared to do. I asked for containers to take my remaining salsa home because I don't waste food and the salsa bowls were full. He argued with me about that also stating he already brought me salsa to go. And to top it off I had to ask the hostess to get my server to bring the check because he disappeared after clearing my table. When he arrived he stated "oh I forgot". It took him 10 minutes at the beginning of service to come back and get our order because he was rolling silverware. As a server, he wasn't attentive at all....and we were the ONLY table he had. One other couple was dining in the entire restaurant. Service is always a toss up here and it really sucks because I really like the food here. As a server myself, there just isn't an excuse for how we weren't taken care of. And by the way, I wasn't even charged for the chips and salsa after all of the difficulty he gave me about wanting to take them to-go. I'm pretty shocked that this place wasn't busy at lunch on a Sunday in this area where people ALWAYS go out to eat. I probably won't go back again unless I know I have a female server. Most of the male servers I've had here aren't nice or attentive.

Has been several years since I last ate here & in the past it was always good and fresh. Today's Beef enchilada lunch plate was a train wreck, beef enchiladas had big chunks of beef all stuck together & no flavor . Cheese dip was pretty good, the guacamole was slimy like it came out of a tube, In other words it didn't appear to be the texture previously of a real avocado! I will not be going anywhere near this place again.

  • Nov 20, 2019 by Jackie M

Had buffet style dinner after funeral here and the food was hot and delicious. Great variety. Staff on top of drink orders and margaritas were fantastic (top shelf). Very pleasant evening after hard day. Would recommend this restaurant.

  • Oct 11, 2019 by Yvette F.

Stopped in for lunch and was greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant was not crowded as it was a late lunch. Service was also quick and friendly. I ordered the chicken enchiladas verdes and they were amazing. It came with beans and rice and it was a lot of food that I could not finish it all. I've been told that the Fajitas are good and I will have to try them next time. I'm not sure why they only have 3 stars ( as this was not my experience). I will definitely go back.

  • Oct 09, 2019 by Amanda C.

I can't say enough about this place and not sure why it has only 3 stars. I give it 4 stars, with a bartender like William, you don't need 3 tequilas to hit the floor, all you need is one good margarita and you're walking out of there wobbling, however, I'm a light-weight so you will have to determine the strength for yourself. The food was fairly decent too. Not the best fajitas I've ever had but they were good. I give this place 4 stars solely due to the service.

  • Oct 08, 2019 by Thomas W

Always had a great dinner at this place. Last visit was not great, in fact, not good. We ordered shrimp enchiladas and cheese enchiladas with shrimp and crawfish topping. Both were below par. The shrimp were very tiny and very mushy, like they were refrozen many times. Took most home and then threw it all away. The service was good and the frozen margarita was good, but the food was disappointing. Be awhile before we return. Once was one of our favorites, not any more.

  • Sep 28, 2019 by Catt V.

Went here after leaving the play space kids center across the parking lot. My advice eat the food at the kids center. We were a group of 6, 1 of 3 tables at the time. Our waiter was rushing us to order. A family member ordered fajita nachos, he was given fajitas instead. My bean chalupa was so stale it wouldn't break with my fork. My sisters plate was the worst of all. Some chicken with tiny frozen shrimp and so much cheese and some god awful sauce. After 1 but she lost her appetite and sent it back. The margaritas were sub par but they were strong. I think they know you need to be drunk to attempt to eat that food their serving.

  • Sep 06, 2019 by Poto11

Good and peaceful place to be with family or friends, Margarita’s are always good, food even better, staff is wonderful and they always remember you and even what you eat!! Definitely the best mexican place ill ever be! Always good music to dance salsa, merengue, bachata and even cumbia. 5 stars all the way!!!!!

  • Aug 29, 2019 by Victor C.

Very nice place! Good atmosphere! Good service! Food is delicious!! You will enjoy eating here. It is a very good atmosphere!

  • Jun 28, 2019 by Sandy H.

This place is walking distance from the kids play space and we decided to go here instead of eating crappy pizza inside the play space. They served crispy thin tortilla chips with a salsa and a guacamole. The guac was very good. Our entrees of flautas (kinda dry) and quesadillas for the kids were okay. Served with rice and bean but nothing super special.

  • May 29, 2019 by Tom W.

High prices for what you get. Quality is sub par. Had hair in the dip. Will not go back.

  • Apr 12, 2019 by Marcela C.

Well, I visit this restaurant thinking that it was going to be delicious, unfortunately I was very disappointed by the food as well the service. Food was cold, ordered a plate of enchiladas mexicanas instead of having fresh cheese on top it was feta cheese, rice was cold the the beans were ok but I just couldn't eat the enchiladas with that type of cheese had to pull the chicken out of them. After living the restaurant got a stomachache.

  • Apr 12, 2019 by Eric S.

Wow...This has got to be some of the nastiest, gringo servin ass shit I've ever tasted. I ordered fajitas for 1 and had grilled shimp added to it, it came out sizzling, like Oh Yeah, good water trick to make it look steamy. Then he said shrimp is 1.00 per so I ordered 10. When he brought my ticket back it showed five dollar extra charge. I asked him what was the five dollar extra charge for it he said oh I'm sorry the shrimp or $1.50 not a dollar each. Which is no problem I don't mind the difference In the price. But the proper thing to do would've been to come back before he served me and tell me they were $1.50 each instead of a dollar. But the real problem was the food. That shit tasted like some soggy ass no flavor havin cuts of meat. I have never had to put extra pepper and salt on my fajita to give it flavor this is the first time ever. And the tortillas, nasty, uncooked, doughy, soggy, also no flavor ass shit. This place is terrible when it comes to Mexican food, and wayyyyy over priced. Go down the road and look for, Rancho Taqueria, off College Exit. Order the same thing and then you tell me what you think.

  • Mar 31, 2019 by William B.

They have the best Fajitas that I have ever eaten. Service is super. They pay attention to your table despite being busy and take care of refills without trying to flag them down. They are very helpful without interrupting your conversation.

  • Mar 31, 2019 by Willi B.

We were a bit shocked by the slightly higher prices but went for it anyways since a certain neighboring restaurant couldn't get us (party of 4) seated. They seated us immediately and the service was impeccable. We ordered the special: mixed fajitas for 2. $23.99 The server after taking our order suggested adding an additional table to make room for all of the food and that was definitely a good suggestion as there was a LOT of food. The fajita platter came out sizzling as it should and had so much meat it would have easily been enough for 3 and of course it was delicious.

  • Mar 27, 2019 by mishawaka_man

I stopped in here at about 10:00 PM after having to find another hotel because the one I booked was overbooked. The restaraunt is kind of an odd arrangement because about half of it is a dance floor. They were setting up for some live music, since it was a Friday night. I wasn't interested in staying for the music. I was tired and hungry after a long day on the fishing boat in Galveston. The chips were thin, crisp, and very fresh. They brought a salsa and a green colored creamy sauce. The green one was ok but the salsa was excellent. It was served warm which surprised me. Very good though. I had the chimichanga with ground beef. Very good. The beans were great. Rice was good. The margarita was OK. All in all, a good meal. I would go back if I ever happen to be in that area again.

  • Mar 18, 2019 by Jamie B.

Oh man. Hands down, worst food at a restaurant I've ever had. The queso and salsa was the only thing that was decent. Cheese enchiladas with rice and beans were so salty. Guacamole was a weird consistency and I didn't attempt the beef taco. We got this chicken covered in mushroom sauce and veggies or something, it was inedible. Definitely worst margaritas and the blood Mary? It was basically vinegar and tabasco with some pepper, we sent it back. I had to ask 2 times for a margarita. We waited 25 mins for the check- he asked if we wanted it split I said all together. 25 mins later we asked him again for it. Spent an extra hour chatting and waiting from when we done eating to when we paid. It's our first day of spring break and we're in town to see my sister. Living in Texas and New Mexico my whole life I've always had great Mexican food. This was surprisingly bad and oddly expensive but the prices have nothing to do with the review... that being said eh... it was over $4 for a bottle of XX. Whatever. Had a great time with my family despite the slow service and bad food. Server was friendly but not very attentive.

  • Mar 01, 2019 by Dream05310786191

Truly enjoyed this Restaurant, it was recommended by the hotel we were staying at, which turned out to be great. I've never had fajitas so tasty. Thank you

  • Feb 23, 2019 by Alexis L.

The cheese enchiladas with beef were extremely bad them hoes where bad bad they had little to no seasoning The tortillas didn't feel fresh or hand made. The rice tasted and had the consistency of water they were weak af and the refried beans were alright might have been the best part of my meal! Water was good surprisingly!

Picture us comin in 30 min before closing. As we walked in to be seated, there was no one to greet us, & then I saw a waiter shaking his head like he was annoyed of us comin in so late. (I'm thinkin.. I understand, restaurant was empty so I don't blame him, but I'll tip him well). Being the only customers that I can see here, I asked if we can change the music. The waiter said he can't change the music, the [thing] doesn't do that so I understood and there was no problem. After we got our appetizer & drinks, he was rude to us. He was rude to my family while askin them for their driver's license. Then the waiter put a sizzling hot fajita in front of my face as he places it down. He apologized cause he knew I was ticked because of that. (I'm thinkin, could you not have asked me to move back if I was in your way?) I was busy talkin to my family so I didn't see our waiter with the food next to me. Then he takes a long time to get my one drink; during that time, there was only two additional customers. (When it was time for the check, he was kind of waving it like someone else take it besides me) So I took the check while simultaneously getting my wallet; and he walks off. (I'm like could u not have waited 20 seconds for me to give u my credit card?) So now I have to wait for u to finish talking to another person, who was not a customer by the way, to come & get my payment. So he comes to get the check after I gave him a look. He gets the payment but instead of ringing it up at the bar. He decides to take a little time to clean up the table of our dishes first. I'm like wtf. Are u goin to make me wait? U can clean up after we leave. So initially, my plan was to tip our waiter at least 20%; then it went down to 18%; then 15% then I was like okay I'll give him 10%. Then my family said, actually this place closes at 10pm, not 9:30 like u thought. It was just hysterical at this point.. So back to the check. He walks over to give hand me the checkbook & as I was reaching for the checkbook he slightly pulls it back while I'm trying to grab it. As he was pulling it, he was actually trying to reach something on the table and he knocks over a happy hour menu and something else. I think it may or may not have been my beer. (Well I wasn't sure if it was my beer that topped over but I knew the plastic menu thing did. Actually I think it was the salt shaker. Now that I think about its "u like mofker. U knock down salt on my table and it's fkin new year's for me. Come on man" ‍. Superstitions but still. *shakes head to right* ) At this point I was upset. I wrote a 0 on the tip and got up to leave. As we were leaving, I looked back & I saw my wife put money in the checkbook. (I'm like what the?) I looked inside & she gave him a $5 cash. (I'm like okay I respect my wife, if u give him cash then I'll write RUDE!! at the bottom of the bill; so at least the manager can know why there was 0 tip & the reasoning behind it) This is my first time leavin a 0 tip to a waiter; hopefully the last, but this will definitely be the last time I will visit this location. I remember this was favorite fajitas place back in high school, 15 years ago. My visit was at Las Haciendas in Webster on Tuesday 2/5/2019. Came in around 9pm. Left before 10pm aka closing time. Only one waiter at restaurant, wearing a maroon shirt. We were first to come in, party of 4. Then one customer came in and walked into the bar. Another person in black shirt with a black pouch around this waist as thought he was a worker too. This was the guy my waiter was talking too instead of waiting a little for my credit card. There was probably a private party or so because I saw about 3 people or so exiting a brown door which thought it was a restroom. But I do know that I didn't see our waiter serve them. Also the fajitas were overcooked but that had nothing to do with the waiter; unless of course the server waited too long to bring the fajitas out and the fajitas overcoooked because it was sitting at the kitchen counter. The attached picture is after I immediately took the fajitas out of the sizzling plate. I THINK no more than 1 to 3 minutes. Attached its the original picture and also an enhanced picture that was only had brightness adjusted. My wife did not want to send the fajitas back. I was fine with not sending it back because my issue was with the waiter, & the overcooked fajitas will probably has to deal with the Cook. The other dishes my family had & like were Chile con queso with ground beef, and the enchiladas & tamales with cheese. The chicken nachos was just okay. This experience did ruined my night with my family but I was able to cool down afterwards. I told my family I will not visit this Las Haciendas in Webster ever again but I will still go to their other locations. Thank you for hearing me vent. By the way, the waiter did not ask how we liked our meat cooked, so I assume it would be medium rare. I didn't remember until we got our fajitas at the table that..

Typical place for me to hangout with my friend. Good food overall, and the salsa is nice and hot. I enjoy going here a lot. The enchiladas are also good. All in all, a good place to hang out.

Excellent place Excellent service Excellent food Real taste of Mexican food Would like to visit again

  • Nov 06, 2018 by Bonnie L.

Best authentic, flavorful red salsa I've ever had. I wish I could make the recipe myself. The service is always great here. The food is high quality and its always delicious. The portions are big. Prices are affordable. This is where I offer to take my friends or colleagues when we go out b/c I know that the experience, food, & drinks will be exceptionally impressive. The atmosphere is nice. There's salsa dancing on the weekend nights. I can't think of any cons of going to this place. Even if you dont like Mexican food, there are seafood and american-type options.

  • Aug 27, 2018 by William H

Not a good place for military, veterans, or their families. They have no patriotism and no discount. Good Mexican food but not as good as El Tiempo down the road. The beans today were very very runny. Service was okay.

  • Jul 12, 2018 by Sheila M.

This is always my go to. I've tried every Mexican restaurant there is around us. I'm an enchilada snob, and I keep coming back! Margaritas are delish too. :)

We decided to stop by here before seeing the Avengers at District Theaters next door and grab some food. I've been by here 100 times and this place is always super lively. It was not this way when we had lunch and the place was pretty dead. So you'd expect service to be top notch? We were one of only three tables here and yet our service was atrocious from the beginning to the end. We were here a total of about an hour and a half because after we received our food (30 minutes into the meal), our waiter disappeared to go outside and smoke and make personal phone calls. We eventually had to get the bartender to find him and he returned with a rude attitude acting completely inconvenienced. (Not to mention he REEKED of cigarette smoke) The food was okay, about what you'd expect. There wasn't a whole lot of spice on the beef that came atop my tostadas and it was all a little bland. I've had better Mexican food at Lupe Tortilla or even Casa Ole. The margarita was pretty good and had the right amount of alcohol. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good enough for me to accept crappy or rude service and I'll have to find another pre-movie restaurant.

  • Apr 29, 2018 by Albertm91

Service was slow good was good, I'll maybe go again and see if it's better. They were slow that day.

  • Apr 19, 2018 by Nicole W.

I ordered the cheese enchilada plate and drank DP. Everything was very tasty! They have the best salsa in my opinion. I would've given 5 stars but my husband wasn't as happy with his food (shrimp) as I was with mine. They also have a nice patio for little ones to run around.

  • Mar 24, 2018 by Eric B.

Terrible service, horrible food, burnt tortillas, nasty fajitas. Poor wait staff! Avoid this place as there are too many great Mexican places to waste your time and money here!!!

  • Mar 23, 2018 by Aydee V.

The weekend atmosphere is great the drinks are good but the food is a hit and miss.. I find my self here more as a hang out after dinner or a place to stop in before heading out to a dancing club. When they have live music it's great but it's small and can get crowded easily sometimes.

  • Mar 15, 2018 by Steven S.

Manuel was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the vibe was super chill, and I will definitely return with friends! If you want to eat Mexican food or drink delicious margaritas, ask for Manuel. It's simply amazing service that cannot disappoint!

  • Feb 18, 2018 by Mia W.

Food is good and reasonably priced. Love the many salad options. I don't care much for the interior seating and the waiter wasn't super friendly. However they were attentive and the salsa is delicious!

  • Feb 04, 2018 by Billy G

I've been there at least twice now. The food has always been top notch. The servers and hosts have always been gracious and professional, keeping an eye on things without being intrusive. Even when it was packed, the staff were still courteous and helpful.

  • Jan 21, 2018 by bryan h

I normally go hear once a week lately i get fajitas for 2 beef the meat has been good, service is decent for the area. They have a full service bar chips and sauce is free. If your interested in sitting out side they have a fenced in patio. Free icecream cone if your interested.

I have always received good service, but this restaurant made me leave with anger. I had no service from anyone other than a busser who luckily cleaned a table close to us. I also had a associate laugh at me in the back room when I asked for a manager which is beyond disrespectful. Also no manager was on the premises so I can assume that the associates of Las Haciendas were acting this way due to no manager. I left the busser a tip which they also decided to take away and of course I took my tip back and gave it to the busser. This is ridiculous and ill never look at this place the same again.

  • Oct 02, 2017 by John A.

I like the authentic feel of this restaurant. The enchiladas are fantastic and the service friendly. The salsa can be a little too authentic if you ask for the hot version. Always enjoy this place and we have been there many times.

  • Sep 21, 2017 by Hayley N.

tortillas fell apart and were awful. 1st time to ever taste a gross tortilla lol. Chips were good. Beans were ok. That's about it. Fajitas made me gag.

Really good Mexican Food!! I came with a group of friends for dinner. We got a couple of drinks and some tacos. We try the Tacos al Carbon, Mexican tacos and veggies quesadilla.. everything really good, the service excellent!

  • Jul 05, 2017 by Christy H.

The beef fajita nachos are always on point!!!! If they had better servers I'd rate a 5. I decided to edit my review after weekly Saturday "nacho nights"... since September 2017 I have been going every week for nachos and drinks after work. I used to look forward to it because the food was awesome and the service was good IF you got the right waiter. Not anymore. I have decided that it's time to explore new options. The quality of the food has been steadily declining. Orders are coming out incorrect and the food isn't as good as it used to be. The service is also on the decline and went from tolerable to terrible. I hate that it's this way because I have enjoyed eating here since the 90's (Not sure exact year) and we were definitely enjoying our new "tradition" of weekly visits to enjoy the food and live music.

Why I came back to this place I have no clue. Came here a few years back and no recollection of anything that good. Went there tonight....terrible. Shrimp brochettes were so dry and tasteless. Nachos so bland there are no words. Salsa...salsa is the only decent thing there which is definitely not enough to return.

  • Jun 12, 2017 by Anthony R.

They don't tell you about drink prices going up!!! before 7 its happy hour prices after that it's regular prices than the price jumps up more after 10pm because the restaurant turns into a bar/club on Saturdays I was at the party room the whole night not even in the main restaurant and the waiter failed to mention about the different price changes it was the bucket of beer a total of 5 beers for 40 dollars!!! That finally got my attention and he took tip out for only two people on a drink tab I was not the only one they did that to talk about cheating the people!!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!

  • Oct 22, 2016 by Charlene W.

First time here....not a good experience. It took our server a good 15 minutes to come back to take our order. Should have left then. We ordered fajitas for two - bland is probably more kind than they deserved. Our server was completely disinterested. To top it off, the ladies' restroom had no hand towels which made me wonder how in the heck the servers washed their hand, or even worse, IF they did. Will not return.

  • Aug 23, 2016 by TXCraig1

The food here is pretty good. The fajitas don't taste artificial like so many places nowadays. They also have some great combo plates that are a good value. It's pretty much my go-to Mexican for dinner.

  • Jun 09, 2016 by Brandis W.

Their house margaritas were 3.75 during happy hour and were pretty tasty. The green sauce is ok but I like that the red sauce is warmed! Had the combination fajitas and enjoyed them, although the Mexican rice is kind of meh(who puts peas in Mexican rice?). While some people may want more from their servers, I actually like that they left me to enjoy my meal but I never felt as if I needed to wait for help when I needed something. The ambiance is small, cozy and gives more of a cantina feel than some of these other commercial Mexican restaurants. I would definitely come back and try different things on the menu.

  • Apr 28, 2016 by BevoBurn96

Food was mediocre. The door to the "party" room would not close, so could not hear the PMI speaker at a professional event over the bar noise. Bathrooms were nasty and there were no paper towels. Hopefully PMI will select a new venue soon.

I really wanted to like this place since I work nearby. But sadly I found a roach in my found and not much was done or said but I guess at this point I was upset and grossed out. Not going back.

  • Feb 06, 2016 by Omari O.

The food here is absolutely average at best.. The fajitas are very mediocre and expensive at that. The top shelf margarita uses Sauza or some other cheap low shelf crap.. All in all if you want a $50 + tab and mediocre tex mex bring your date here.

  • Jan 14, 2016 by Lexi R.

The only place I will dine at for Mexican food! Some of my favorite dishes are the beef enchiladas, chicken chimichangas, and both the beef and chicken fajitas. I have been here a few times on weekends to experience the dance party that goes down late at night - complete with live music and a disco ball! Service here is always great - staff is very friendly. I've been coming here for years and plan to keep it that way!

I normally don't do ratings unless it's exceptional or horrible. In this case, it was horrible. Like another person said, if you didn't have to give them at least 1 star I would have given them 0. We got our food to go-it was quick but probably because they warmed up frozen food in a microwave. The beans had the tint of a bad tan and tasted like they were straight out a can, the rice was bland and the kids meal quesadillas came with only 2 measly pieces of quesadilla slices. I seriously could have gotten more food if I would have spent the same $5 at McDonald's. My husband got the beef fajita enchiladas and they barely had any sauce or cheese on them, they were pretty dry. If you want a better experience at Las Haciendas I recommend the one on Marina Bay Drive, we've been to that location several times and the quality of the food and service is 10 times what this location offers. I guess this is a good place to go after you've spent a night drinking and don't care about eating good food. Good luck if you eat here.

  • Sep 13, 2015 by Diana A.

I am not sure what happened, but the food quality has gone downhill. Beef enchiladas were salty, rice had no seasoning, refried beans seemed like out of a can. Fajitas were overdone slightly burnt.Wonder if chef left or went on vacation. Salsa was warm and the best part of the meal. The place is usually full but it was actually somewhat empty, Staff was nice and prompt. Ordered beef fajita taco, charro beans. Taco was okay could be better. The beans were really good and so was red salsa! Plenty of room for dancing in the evenings. Service was good. She checked on us frequently. Also tasted the cheese beef enchiladas and meat was delicious and rice was okay. If you stop for dancing 9:30 pm is a great time to park and snag a table. It gets pretty packed after 10pm.

  • Sep 06, 2015 by Arianna C.

If I couldn't rate it I would. Firstly it took us 15 minutes to even get greeted after we were seated. They had 3 tables on the floor and 7 servers. They were not busy at all. Everyone was standing around doing not a damn thing. . By the time we got greeted , our server had an attitude that I promise would have never worked well at any other restaurant. As a former server I'm somewhat of a stickler but I give people room to fuck up. Then our drinks came back wrong, how do you mess up a Frozen Mango Strawberry Margarita & A Sangria Margarita? Then they got our food order wrong 3 times, and each time they just acted like it wasn't a big deal but there people here with allergies. . I had to request a manager, who seemed less than interested to hear. We told him, paying for what we ordered is no problem but you should pay better attention to your restaurant and staff making sure your presence is known. . my rant is over but I don't recommend.

Went after a show on Sunday, about 5PM. Not crowded. Ordered two frozen plain margaritas. For $3 ea. they were very good. We split a seafood enchilada dinner. The basic enchilada was cheese filled but the topping was terrific. It was shrimp and crawfish tails .

If you want fajitas that taste better than Papasitos and are half the price come here. The borracho beans are amazing. Salsa is wonderful. Top it all of with a Hacienda frozen Rita and you won't be disappointed.

  • Aug 13, 2014 by Heath E.

Ordered chimichanga. Wife ordered enchiladas. Food came out so very fast that I worry that it's simply microwaved. Sorry, but the food was rather flavorless and a bit of a disappointing value-for-money. Chips and salsa were complimentary and ok.

First off this place is mine and my wife's go to spot for Mexican. It's not the all out best Mexican food I've ever had, but it is very good. It's super fast and the service is always adequate. We can be in and out for fewer than 20$ and 30-minutes. You can't beat that. Whenever we have family or friends coming over and we don't want to mess with cooking and all that jazz, we phone them up and place an order and regardless what it is, its ready for us to pick up in 15 minutes. The staff is friendly, and if you become a regular, you start to notice small things not appear on the check. Just a benefit of a small place.

  • Jun 13, 2013 by S C.

We have been going to this place for many years and loved it but that is over. We had invited a friend to join us and all of us ordered different items, well guess what, we all had tooth picks in our food! Not only is it disgusting but very dangerous. Can you imagine swallowing a tooth pick and it getting g lodged in your throat! They acted like it was no big deal, well it is a big deal and we will never go there again. There are far too many Mexican restaurants in the area!

  • Jun 11, 2013 by Donald M.

I don't know why this place doesn't get better ratings. We always get fajitas and it was all we could do to keep each other from licking the plate!

  • May 28, 2013 by Igno R.

The food here is pretty good compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The salsa and chips are good. I usually get food from here. Although the prices are a little on the high side.

  • May 26, 2013 by K C.

On my list of local favorites. Good food, ample portions, reasonable prices. My boyfriend and I go here often for happy hour so we usually just have drinks and the little happy hour "buffet", which consists of chips, refried beans, queso, and fajita meat. Margaritas were average. When we order dinner, it's always good and I think it's actually my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I usually order the chicken enchilada verde, which is very good, or the seafood enchiladas, which are outstanding. I wouldn't say the restaurant as a whole is extraordinary, but then, I'm not sure what it would take to make a Mexican restaurant extraordinary. I've been to dozens of different ones, some a dollar or two more or less, but all pretty much in the same range, and I'm rarely disappointed with the food. I did go to one upscale restaurant in downtown Houston that was much pricier and the food was no better; and another where the food was better, but was also significantly higher in price. But Las Haciendas is just fine for a good meal. I have three criteria for a restaurant to stay on my list of favorites - good food, generous portions, reasonably priced. Hacienda meets those criteria. The one place where they really excel, in my opinion, is their chips and salsa. Everybody has their own favorite salsa, but for me, Las Haciendas is absolutely at the top of the list. The green salsa is excellent, but the red is the best I've had anywhere. It's served warm, and it's hard to describe the taste, but the best I can do is "warm, fresh, seasoned tomato taste". I've never had it anywhere else, and it's very addicting. Flan is good for dessert. Free ice cream is sometimes runny, sometimes not working, sometimes good. By the time I finish my meal I'm usually too full for ice cream anyway.

This is OK spot for a quick, cheap Mexican fix. Salsas were good, food was OK, nothing special at all. The staff was quick (probably because the joint was empty) but got my order wrong. Our server was also not quick to refill beverages. I'd rather go to Chili's.

The food is excellent, but the best part is the happy hour, drink specials (12oz frozen margarita $2.75) from 11am-7pm and free food from 5pm-7pm. The free food is queso (cheese), refried beans and some kind of mixed chicken and beef stew. Really good! I

I don t care if a restaurant has good food. If the staff (including the manager) are incredibly rude, then the overall rating of the restaurant, I feel suffers. We had a discrepancy on our credit card and tried to reach a person who could correct the charge (they added more gratuity than we authorized) Don t waste your time! Ever!

We had a coupon from the "Postal Publication" circular that comes in the mail and decided to try this place. It was pretty busy for 5:30 pm on a Thursday but the place is huge so there were plenty of places to sit. We were seated promptly and got our chips and salsa quickly. The red salsa was warm which I'm not usually crazy about but it actually tasted pretty good; the green salsa was very good also. I ordered the chicken verde enchiladas and hubby ordered the beef chimichangas. Both were served with rice and beans and the portions were HUGE! You definitely get your money's worth here!! Plus it was definitely great tasting food. Mine had shredded chicken which tasted like it had been marinated and was tender and yummy; hubby's had ground beef and had a good spicy (but not hot) flavor too. I had to steal a bite as his was covered in queso....yum! We also each had a small vanilla cone; it was kind of melty but not too bad at all although we were both stuffed! We will definitely be back even without a coupon...I was impressed with the food and the service and really liked it here. Although it was extremely loud in there between the music and the people, so if you're looking for a place to have a romantic dinner this would not be it!

Ok, so we're in the 'burbs. If you're going out to eat, 85% of the choices are national chain restaurants. So when my family goes out to eat Tex Mex, we like to come here because it's not a Chili's. We always eat fajitas and they're always tender and you don't always have to stick to either beef or chicken. They've got short ribs, shrimp, and all sorts of things for you to stick into your tortilla. We choose it over Pappasito's because it's just as good but cheaper. Oh, and btw, the coupon in the Entertainment book for "La Hacienda" is NOT valid at this place -- it's a different restaurant! Gotta love the never ending chips, salsa, and guac dip. Can't complain about my water glass never getting empty. Pass on the free soft-serve ice cream at the end, though. It's too icy.

I really enjoyed dining here. I was a little hesitant to go here, since I already have my own favorite mexican restaurants in the area. Also, I'm so picky about green sauce (salsa verde) that I don't really like to try different places. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the dip! The green sauce was mild and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, my brother, and red sauce counterpart, was not so impressed. He was disappointed that the red sauce tasted a little "ketchup-y". The prices were a little higher what we're used to, but I was impressed with the amount of food we received. We brought home a lot of yummy left overs! Everyone seemed pretty happy with their meals and drinks. (Drinks by the way, my dad and sis both got $1 beers for happy hour) My sister's only "gripe" was that her tamale was not very good, but everything else, she liked. It was pretty busy, typical Saturday night, so we had to wait a little longer for our food to arrive, but our waitress was excellent, refills were timely.

You know the food is really not all that bad -- decent, but certainly not the best thing I've ever had and the service is decent as well. If you're going there for lunch and dinner... enjoy. If you're going there for happy hour, I would suggest only getting beer unless you like the taste of pure liquor. On the plus side, they do feature a nacho bar during happy hour but its mediocre at best. Holy crap this place makes horrible drinks! Their idea of a margarita is basically tequila with a little lime in it. If you'd prefer a nice sugary rum drink to satisfy your thirst, just decide what color you want your rum to be -- blue, red, green -- because it will have no flavor to it other than rum. Of course, if you want to get drunk on the cheap and don't mind tasting your liquor then come out to Las Haciendas Mexican Bar & Grill for happy hour! Just make sure you have a designated driver first.

The family likes this place so I eat here on occasion. Pretty much your mainstream Mexican......the fajitas are always tender, the sides average. The flour tortillas are homemade, which is always a welcome sight with me. The service has always been good.

This restaurant was recommended to us by an acquaintance. It was simply horrible. The iced tea smelled like sewer water. The service was slow and the food was sub par. No chance I would ever go back.
