This place is spotless, breakfast is luxurious, service is amazing. It is an incredible value and great location. I cant recommend it enough. I love that it had a kitchenette with dishes.

Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. The bed was really comfortable the breakfast was fresh and very good. The room was quiet, and the location is great and conveniently located.

I spend hrs looking at reviews trying to find a decent hotel. This particular property is solid if you value cleanliness, location, and overall chill vibes. Nice staff, clean rooms & looks like they hard security making rounds in the parking lot at night. Would book again

Zhe hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The rooms are clean, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was tasty, although fairly simple—more than adequate to start the day. I can’t fully comment on the service as I didn’t have much interaction, but the staff I encountered were friendly and polite.

One downside is that the rooms are not well soundproofed. I could hear my neighbor’s alarm clock, which was a bit disruptive. Other than that, my stay was pleasant and I would recommend it for those looking for a comfortable and conveniently located option.

I usually stay here, rooms are always nice and clean and it’s pretty quiet. I only wish they had a full service restaurant and bar here, but there is one at the other hotel across the parking lot. I will continue to stay here. the staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. A lot of places to eat with great restaurants all within a few miles with easy inexpensive access via Uber or a short walk if you’re up to it.

Great place to stay, the breakfast was good , the coffee was really good in the dining room. Everyone that worked there was very kind and helpful. The entrance from the road into the parking lot is a bit tricky to find since there are close to another driveway to the business next door. Once you miss the driveway to the Hotel you can't cut across the parking lot because of a fence and a 3 ? foot drop off . I highly recommend studying your map close to learn which entrance to take so you don't have to circle the interstate

Rooms are very roomy and super clean. Everything was extremely neat and clean. Staff was very friendly and professional.
Location is perfect. Close to the highway but not close enough where you can hear traffic noise.
Pet friendly - 75$ pet fee if you are staying from 1-4 days
Breakfast is very diverse and with a lot of food options, even for people with dietary restrictions. They had vegan options as well. Deff recommend this hotel

Great staff here and a wonderful room. I was welcomed by a kind gentleman on the evening 10/31/24 and would like to commend his friendliness and enthusiasm, it made quite a difference for me after a long day of traveling. Will be back whenever I need a hotel in Houston!

For the price, this was a nice hotel. It's a bit awkward getting to it, but is away from the road and it's associated noise.
Room was clean and one of the most uniquely laid out rooms I have ever been in. Nice, clean and the bed was comfortable.
Road noise was minimal and noise from other guests was a lot more tolerable given the room layout.
I would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was so clean and spacious. I liked how the kitchen area was stocked with necessities one might need such as plates, silverware, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the ceiling fan in the room was a plus for me. It truly felt like a nice studio apartment. All of the staff were helpful, and check-in was easy using the Hilton Honors app. The only thing I didn’t like was I chose my room ahead of time on the app but was assigned a different room when we got there. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Very nice and spacious rooms. Love the small kitchen in the room and toiletries available. The staff is friendly and allowed us an early check in as well.

Was trying to make reservations on the phone for my company with a little girl named PERLA, and she hung up on me! So rude! Will not be calling them back for anything until they either discipline her or either teach her better customer service skills! So Rude!

  • Aug 19, 2024 by Jack Stout

Fire the night front desk attendant Maria. Checked in on the honors app just to be told to come to front desk. Sure not a problem. Go to the front desk to check in and magically they wanted almost a $200 security deposit which was not put on the last time I stayed here. I’m from NJ so there’s no local banks down here so I ask can I put it on a credit card and sign an authorization form like I’ve done many times before and she said no. Kinda of ironic how we tack on $200 and then when you realize you can’t pocket the money off a credit card you instantly decline my reservation. She’s a joke

Location in my opinion is very good and near from main av., rooms are in good conditions and I want to specially recognize the staff that work on the morning shift and the one that works on the day that they have a light dinner. That employee always give an extra in his service.

I don’t put 5 stars because in general the staff in the lobby or guest service with exception of just one employee the rest seems to me that are tire of working their shifts and doesn’t even bother to give a welcome smile. Also sometimes they don’t give the couple of waters for Hilton Honors members.

This is my favorite hotel. I've stayed here 4 times, and most recently this week on Wednesday. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are always perfectly clean and feel brand new, it's in a great location in Spring Branch/Memorial City, and is reasonably priced. If you're staying the night in Houston, you can't go wrong at Homewood Suites.

The other positive reviews are right. This hotel is immaculately clean and the staff is excellent. The rooms are new or updated and very well maintained. Breakfast was served with real, warmed dishes with real flatware AND they had delicious actual food options beyond the usual hotel fare of preservative-laden baked goods and hot/cold cereal options. Seriously: American breakfast options plus what tasted like homemade Pork Carnitas with warm tortillas (corn and flour) and a range of toppings that were so so good! Better yogurt and cereal options than expected as well. It felt like the hotel stays I remember from a decade ago, where free breakfast was an event to look forward to. The business center is very nice, if a little out in the open, and they provided an impressive array of complimentary board/card games in their lounge area for a range of ages. My son and I found plenty to play while we watched it rain. The pool was closed probably due to Hurricane Beryl complications, but it looked like a very nice outdoor area and didn't matter for our stay because it rained nonstop.

This was our third hotel stay in as many days, including other Homewood Suites, and this location raised the bar and was an unexpected, refreshing bonus. Seriously exceptional, my 5 year old now wants to live there.

First impression, walking through the front doors walking over something sticky on the floors and again in the elevator area. Come on now, get a mop.
Check-in was fine. Rooms were ok, and the hot breakfast was pretty good. The pastries are not fresh and tasted pre-packaged and nasty.

I travel for work, so I stay in a lot of hotels and I will say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I stayed there for two weeks and every day I have my room cleaned. The sheets and towels were clean and did not have a weird odor like some of the hotels do. The staff was so nice. The gym is really nice and my overall experience was great thank you so much.

Stayed for 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend. Sam at the front desk was incredible and patient. He helped me sort out my room when i booked the wrong one. The rest of the staff, especially the breakfast staff were simply the best! Will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The rooms are okay, though they are much smaller than the pictures on the Homewood Suites website. The beds are standard for this star hotel. The biggest issue comes when there are storms. I had a nice waterfall in my room during a storm. I let the front desk know about it. I also let them know about it a few days after the power came back on. Then again, 2 weeks later. The hotel never once followed through to make sure that there was no water damage or any issue of that sort.
The hotel also lost power during that storm and was out for three days. That hotel was the only one out of our group that decided that it was just fine to continue to charge for the hotel rooms. even though they had no power. I personally had to get a hotel on the other side of the city but couldn't check out due to the current rate. I have since changed hotels due to them deciding to be greedy.
I do want to mention that the staff overall was fantastic to work with, especially Shawn Paul and Javier Penaloza. They were both extremely welcoming and always had a smile on their faces. I would almost go back to stay just because of them.
Overall, the hotel can be decent if there is nothing going on, but it there is even a small hiccup, you will probably get screwed over.

Edit: After contacting Hilton Corporate. They sent it to the hotel to deal with. The hotel gave me 10,000 Hilton Honors Points for compensation for not being able to provide the services they promised for 3 days while there was no power. I also talked with other Homewood Suites in the area, and they all refunded/didn't charge while they were without power. I would now more than before not recommend this location until the management is replaced. If you are staying in this area, I would suggest going with a Marriott or IHG hotel instead.

Front desk folks were great and super helpful. The actual maid staff of the hotel, not so much. We stayed for a few weeks. A couple of times, I'd ask the maid staff for stuff: an extra towel or a broom to sweep my room up. They'd just look and say no hablo ingles, which is fine. But when I asked in Spanish, I'm cuban, then they just stared and blinked at me. So, I just went downstairs and got stuff for the front desk, i dont have time for games. Then, one time, the back door scanner wasn't working, and I kept tapping my card and one maid was there with her cart on the other side, and she looked at me and just walked away. Had to walk all the way around the building to the side door.

Lastly, the morning breakfast guy was amazing! The bigger Hispanic dude, just simply an amazing guy. But the other workers, it felt like the food was coming out of their paycheck. Would stand right next to ya and watch what you're taking and make little derogatory comments in Spanish.

Then the Sunday before we left I guess 1 or 2 of them called in, because this light skinned black chick with glasses dressed like a manager had to help them....she was horrible kept making comments out loud; "oh here they go again! They're taking this or that." Or "ugh, we have to refill the sugar coffee or whatever these folks just don't stop they just keep eating everything." She said about one lady who looked pregnant, "Oh she's back again, taking another plate of food, oh lawd!"

Its a free breakfast, and Im not sure what her problem was or the other breakfast people's problem was during the week....I guess the breakfast and supplies must come out of their bonus or paychecks or something for them to be that rude about. I mean, 250 a night, you'd think it wouldn't be a problem to have 2 plates of breakfast.

But to highlight the best employees we encountered; front desk girls; white chick with the face tat, and the black chick with the chest tat! They were just amazing and super helpful! Never rude or ugly. The big dude that ran the morning breakfast! Super helpful and very kind to my wife and me!! The black maintenance guy with glasses is beyond helpful and kind! Literally, those 4 folks made the stay amazing! Wished i got the names to recomm to corporate to give them a raise!! But the rest of the employees we encountered consistently were rude or mad at the world.

The Room it self is smaller than what’s really advertised, we’re staying here celebrating 2 birthdays….. we’ll let me tell you, if you are here for leisure go somewhere else, upon arrival the key card system didn’t work, the security and hotel staff, had to escort you to and from your room, if that wasn’t awkward enough, you had to wait for someone to be available to let you in, sometimes waiting over 15 minutes, to get in your room that you’re paying for……..to pacify the inconvenience we were promised a late checkout…..but of course, that was also a lie, Sunday morning, I go to confirm with the front desk since at this point I already have no trust in the integrity of this establishment, the manager tell me, “I can give you points, but I can’t let you check out late” now imagine if I wouldn’t have checked and they charged me, I’ve stayed in plenty Hilton hotels, for both business and leisure, and this by far has been the worst one ever, I do not recommend and would go someplace please else.

CLEANEST HOTEL I've ever stayed in! The employees are proud and friendly for a 6 year old hotel, spotless! Thank you! Service could've been better pertaining when answering customers Hilton Honor points system for reservations and if earlier check-out. Manager hassle of point system and nowhere in the HH app does it say we have to specifically talk to the manager to override returning points of we Checkout earlier. A hassle to talk on the phone and wait for the solution in weeks.

The room is very nicely furnished, and they provide a surprisingly good free breakfast! It included the option to make your own tacos, which I've never seen at a hotel before. Would definitely stay here again.

Sean at the front desk was so helpful and very friendly! He made us feel very welcome alongside the rest of the staff. Rooms were very clean and would definitely recommend it to other people. And the complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The best Houston hotel we've found! The rooms are clean, updated, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and every amenity - gym, pool, lobby was clean and modern. They allowed us to check in early, and every staff member was welcomign and helpful. We will definitely stay here for all future Houston visits!

This hotel is by far our new favorite! We came into town to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The hotel was nice, smelled really good, and was clean! Our Room was perfect! The bed slept beautifully. The continental breakfast was the best. A large variety of breakfast food which made our decision what to eat pretty hard haha. The staff was really respectful and hard working! Would definitely visit this hotel again!

I randomly decided to book here at 11 pm. To my surpise the hotel looked very nice! The front desk was super nice and accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite. The suite was so nice and spacious. We slept like babies in this quiet hotel and comfortable bed. Also, the breakfast staff was very nice and respectful! Thank you to the staff for making our 1 night stay feel so welcoming. I will definitely book here next time I'm in Houston.
